3. Feb. 2 is the Feast of the Presentation, or "Candlemass Day," and Feb. 3 is the feast of St. Blaise, when many parishes offer a blessing of throats. Share a time when one of these feasts had special meaning for you.

Mark 1:40-45

1. Who are the lepers in today's society? How can we reach out to them?
2. The leper rejoins the community, but Jesus is forced into isolation. Share a time when you or someone you know was ostracized from the family or community, or moved to a new town where you knew no one. How did you/they hand the isolation?
